The dashpot damper slows the rise of the suction piston to provide a momentary rich mixture on sharp acceleration. A missing, wrong, or worn damper causes flat spots and hesitation. It is essential that the correct part is fitted — dampers vary by carburettor type. Premium round brass cap. Non-vented.

Fits: HS2, HS4 carburettors. Mini, Morris Minor, MGB, MG Midget.
