Jet Assemblies
The jet determines fuel delivery in an SU carburettor. Over time it wears from round to oval, allowing more fuel than intended — richening the mixture in a way no jet height adjustment can correct. When a jet is worn, it must be replaced.
SU Specialists stocks genuine OEM-specification jet assemblies for all major SU models, including the standard HS-series jet and the temperature-compensating bi-metal assembly used in HIF carburettors. Always replace needle and jet together for best results.
